Dates From Hell - Kelley Armstrong, Lynsay Sands, Lori Handeland I've been waiting for the story of Hope and Karl's first meeting. I always felt a little left out when I would read the novels because there were hints of important events that were not in the previous books. It took me a while to realize there were in between novellas that told those stories.

"Men of the Otherworld" is my favorite collection of those stories because it gave a deeper view into the pack history. I wish I had that same insight into Karl's past. In his first introduction I did not care for Karl and his selfishness attitude, but with his appearance in later novels and especially in this novella, I have come to like Karl very much.

As with the Clay and Elena origin stories, this Karl and Hope story is a lot of fun. I look forward to many more Karl capers.
