Excellent! The Son of Neptune introduces us to the Roman Camp of the demigods. We meet several new heroes and are taken through an amazing quest up the northwest part of the North American continent. I love the seamless way current places and things are neatly mixed with Greek/Roman myth and legend. It is also refreshing to see characters who are uncomplicated when it comes to crushes. He likes her, she likes him, they become a couple. Maybe it is because the author is male, but I enjoy the simpleness of the feelings instead of the complicated nightmare of drama that many YA books wrap into the plot. I can't wait for the next one!
